Robert redford and the sting - The Sting Reviews
In reflecting on The Sting I see only Robert Redford with that cocky and very naive smile as he runs through the movie and character and the life of this very entertaining movie with a wonderful soundtrack and smart subtitles between acts. I loved it. Of course Paul Newman was great and quite effective as the senior statesman to Robert Redford's freshman status. Luther was wonderful as the very respected grifter and who I found out was Earl James Jones's father. How about that? It doesn't get better then that. The supporting cast was phenomenal from the little guy reading the ticker tape to the guy with the limp (Robert Shaw). Talk about a work of blooming art!!!
